In this first episode, we meet Kid Norbit, a shy, soft-spoken, awkward kid growing up inside The Golden Wonton Orphanage. Life here isn’t peaceful or quiet — it’s loud, unpredictable, and constantly stressful, especially because of the man running the place… Mr. Wong.

Mr. Wong is strict, dramatic, hilarious, and absolutely unfiltered. One minute he’s roasting kids like a stand-up comedian, the next minute he’s making sure everyone eats and stays safe. He acts like every kid owes him rent, electricity money, and emotional damages — but deep down, he’s still holding the orphanage together.

Norbit is just trying to enjoy one of his last free days before school starts, keeping his head down and staying out of trouble. But things instantly get complicated when Kid Franklin unexpectedly pulls up to hang out. Franklin means no harm — he just wants to play — but Mr. Wong has rules, and breaking them means public embarrassment with no mercy.

Norbit gets stuck in the middle, trying to keep Franklin happy while avoiding Mr. Wong’s legendary roasting sessions. And while all this chaos is happening, Norbit is quietly dealing with something much deeper — questions about his past, his parents, and how he ended up at the orphanage in the first place.
